Claire reviewI went on a staff development continuous professional development (CPD) in administration. I work as an admin staff at Carepeople ltd a domiciliary care provider in Birmingham Spark Hill.
I enjoyed the style of teaching, visual aids, team work and we did a range of things and not just writing.
I gained more knowledge especially on health and safety procedures which I was not well informed before the course; the importance of the health and safety hand book, and that I should know the content of it. Further more I learnt how to prepare the quality folder, both online and a physical paper based, and its significance in administration. And more. I will take these lessons with me.I recommend that all admin staff attend the CPD sessions at CPA College.

Donald's Feedback

Donald's reviewI went to attend an induction training at CPA College in December 2012 for 5 days. I found the programme very helpful and very useful. I found the teaching styles very good making you relax and feel confident. The respect between teachers and candidates was very good. What I found most enjoyable in the teaching styles was the group discussions and the relaxing atmosphere created for learning. The reasons I can recommend people to CPA College for induction training is because of the integration between staff on the course and the teachers is very good, relaxing and positive. I was very happy and really enjoyed the course.

I work as an admin staff and as a staff development liaison officer at Carepople ltd at Spark Hill in Birmingham. During the administration CPD session at CPA College, I learnt how important health and safety is at the work place. As regards quality folders, I realised that although they do exist in the organisation, I need to put them centrally where they can easily be accessed. There are number of things which I learnt especially in the span of control and division of labour. Indeed I will be putting into practice elements which were taught while on the CPD programme at CPA College. I did know something already as I came on the course in administration and to find a refreshments was a good thing to confirm that I was on the right path at work. Also the CPD highlighted what I need to improve on. I certainly recommend the CPD programme to others.
